i am attending an offline fishing trip this saturday with a few of the ws gang, and was told we will mainly be catching bass and barracuda, which we are promptly gonna head back to the house and throw on a bbq. the pairing that was brought up(for the 'cuda) seems to be zin. i asked a friend of mine who said a spanish white, albarino, would be far better. he couldn't even imagine zin. any thoughts?

Between Zin and Albarino I would much rather have Albarino. Zin turns metallic and hard with the vast majority of seafood.
