Pan seared/broiled rib-eyes steamed green beans mashed potatoes with Delizia White Truffle Oil
First time cooking with truffle oil... good god that stuff is strong. One teaspoon for a huge dish and it was almost overpowering. Yum!!!

| I decided to cook on the spur of the moment last night:
Poached trout in: 2004 Domaine Bernard Morey et Fils Maranges 1er Cru La Fussière (my previous note showed that it was better to use this for cooking then drinking) Roasted new potatoes with rosemary and tarragon Broccoli steamed and then tossed in a olive oil, basalmic and sundried tomato dressing | | TN posted on Cellartracker "I drink no more than a sponge." | My sister's boyfriend's birthday was this weekend. She wanted me to cook steaks, and she would buy. So for a party of 6 (plus my 2 kids), she arrived with $150 of grass fed/finished filet mignon. Brushed off the snow on the grill and cranked it up to 1,500 degrees Getting ready to serve....

Thanks. No, last night was just a night out with wine friends. I got back from skiing in CO on Tuesday but my wife is still out in CO visiting her sister. I think she is taking me out on Saturday.

Thanks! - Dang those are some expensive grills! Good Lord!
One thing I noticed that's wrong on their website, however, is this statement:
"... This superior burner gives you the high heat necessary to lock in the juices for more tasty..." High Heat and searing does NOT "lock in juices" - it just adds a nice texture...
