Nelson was my somm. Hadn't heard of Bressler, but went nuts when he saw Mia Klein and David Abreu on the back of the bottle. I gave him a glass, he returned the favor with a NZ botrytis wine with dessert (I know, didn't get the name... just Noble 06 - think it was Craggy Bay?) GREAT stuff. Really nice guy.

| Ahhh....Canlis.....can't wait to get back to that place. While they were a bit pretentious, the food was incredible, and the wine list more than fair. We'll have to hit this place next time I'm up your way Drew!

| | My favorite new QPR Cabernet. The 2005 "The Show" by Joell Gott. Freaking great wine for under $15. | | | |

| Interesting...I saw that same wine at retail and was tempted to buy if only because I'd never heard of "The Show" as a bottling in previous vintages from Gott...
Now I guess I'll have to! | | | |

| Every year, I head up a team at my company to run the Hustle Up The Hancock race. And every night I plan a killer meal. 40 day, dry aged, prime, NY Strip and Filet Mignon with cold water lobster tails! Popped a 2003 Shafer HSS with the beef. Yum. | | | |
