Lasagna is one of my favorite things to make, and for the first time I tried the Oven Ready Lasagna noodles.  Not sure I like them...  seemed a little chalky and it dried out the lasagna.  Perhaps i could put more water in the sauce I use.....

Anyone have good experience with the oven ready stuff?  Any particular brand?   It does make the preparation time shorter, but not sure it's worth it.

I have tried oven ready lasgna noodles also...only once.  It made the lasagna really dried out.  I would not use them again.  I would just spend the extra 10-15 minutes to boil noodles...the taste really makes up for it.

I've tried the Oven Ready noodles and didn't like the results at all - unevenly done, no texture, and no flavor. I've actually gone the other way and now make my noodles from scratch. The bad news is that making lasagna now takes the better part of a day. The good news is that something about the fresh noodles makes the dish fantastic.

Seems my experience is the same with those noodles.... bland, thin, and dry... I'll go back to boiling them...

Any favorite brands?
