Aromatic nose of violets and nuts turns into picholine-evoking palate. Slightly green oilve flavors but with a hazelnut and lavender flavor turning into one of the butteriest olive oils I have ever tasted. This is not a blockbuster over-the-top Spanish style of olive oil but is restrained, complex, and incredibly elegant. I'm not certain this is worth $45/bottle when you can get roughly equal quality out of Spain for $28/bottle (L'Estournel Organic). But given the varying styles, as well as the fact that this bottle will last for months, it is hard to complain. 93

I can't listen to that much Wagner. I start getting the urge to conquer Poland.
