"5L Dunn" recipe - Goat cheese wontons

Goat cheese Wontons

makes 36


6 oz cream cheese, softened
2 egg yolks
2 Tbsp sour cream
2/3 cup goat cheese
2 tsp thyme
6 Tbsp shredded parmesan
2 scallions, minced
sea salt & fresh cracked pepper
36 square wonton wrappers
cornstarch & water

Heat 1/2" vegetable oil in a cast iron skillet

Mix cream cheese, egg yolks, sour cream, goat cheese, thyme, and parmesan. Fold in green onions and salt & pepper to taste.

Mix 1 Tbsp cornstarch into 1 cup hot water. Lay 1 wonton flat, wet finger in cornstarch&water, and brush 4 edges of wonton. Put 1 tsp filling in center of wonton and fold into triangle, press edges to seal.

Fry until browned, flipping wonton one time.

To reheat place in conventional oven at 350F, no microwave please.
