Crow and Lame Duck?

That was mean. But I couldn't resist. Needless to say, here in DC there is only one topic being discussed.

Din...

As Vinocellar's resident liberal or at least the only one who gladly advertises it, you must know that gloating will only create a
shi*storm....but wouldn't a nice pinot noir pair best with crow or duck?

actually - something tells me that a merlot would work very well w/ crow and duck.

maybe it's because merlot's root is "merle", which is a black bird in french. A crow is a black bird, and Duck does go well w/ Bordeaux. So why not give Merlot a try?

Republicans eating crows and lame ducks? Why, the Sierra Club would have us in court before you could turn the oven on... No foie gras for you!

I will gladly advertise as a liberal as well...at least socially. I'm pretty conservative on National Defense. And not giving away my money to people who won't make good used of it.

That's pretty funny Din.

I not sure what I would pair with crow and duck. If I was a liberal however I sure would know what to pair a cigar with.

As a dedicated independent (sorry, political parties seem like a form of mindless tribalism) and thus having to rely on what the individual politicians actually are DOING rather than what they SAY, it seems like we're trading one bucket of sh*#balls for another bucket of sh*#balls. Many of my Democratic colleagues are gloating, forgetting all of those Greek tragedies showing hubris preceding collapse.

Clearly you would pair them with a left bank wine.
