| My wedding anniversary is this week and I am planning an intimate picnic.
Any suggestions for cheese and wine pairing? What else would make a good combination? My husband will scoff if there isn't something substantial for him to eat too!

| For something heartier, Reggiano Parmesan and Amarone.
Somewhat lighter, Humbolt Fog or Montenebro or another soft-ripened goat cheese, perhaps with ash, with a lighter Pinot Noir or with an Alsatian... Gewurtz or Tokay Pinot Gris... could actually probably do a dryish Muscat, too. Or a really high end Soave, even. | |

| Every thing was excellent!! My hubby loved almost everything! He lovingly nicknamed the Humboldt Fog, "ass-cheese." I don't think we'll be getting that again!  Thank you for your help! | | | |
