I've had buffalo ribeyes and strip steaks from Whole Foods that were really good. But Elk? Really? Why?
Their website says that they carry turtle!

The Elk was very lean and very tasty, actually. I assume that the meat was from a commercial, domesticated herd. I'll bet you can find it in Chicago, if you look. | | http://www.sweetandsourspectator.org

| Last night at East Coast Grill in Cambridge. Steamed PEI Mussels in a Thai coconut chilli broth that were the best ever.....at least since the last time I had them at ECG. Grilled Striped Bass. Out OF THIS WORLD GOOD.
Tonight will be a business dinner at Red Bones BBQ....wow I need to go for a run. | | "It's better to have your enemies inside the tent pissing out, then outside the tent pissing in." -- Lyndon Johnson

| Lunch: The most gosh-awful meal at Las Brisas (completely the opposite experience last time). I had the Calamar al Mojo de Ajo which was recommended by the host (sauteed calamari medallions with bell peppers, capers and tomatoes in a creamy garlic butter sauce with vegetables and Mexican-style rice.)
The horrible service was what made the food and the experience awful. I asked for a kid's menu (which was offered the last time we were there). The server said they didn't have one. So I ordered for my 5 year old a HALF ORDER of nachos. The damn idiot brought out a mountain of nachos that could have fed two adults. I told him that was too much and he told me to help her eat it. On top of that, my soup came before our drinks. I nicely asked the idiot to remove the soup and bread plates and he only took half of them. The 1 bottle of Tazo peach tea I had was 4.45. WTF?
Dinner: Pizza from a local pizzeria (was very good and very fresh) Petit basque
