As the family wine geek, I'm expected to provide the wine for dinner whenever we go to the parents/in-laws for dinner. Well it is time to go for Passover and I'm again expected to bring wines for the Seder. I'm taking

Two bottles of the 2001 Capçanes Montsant Peraj Ha'Abib Kosher

One bottle of the 1998 Château de Montage Kosher (it is the only Kosher Bordeaux I own)

I'll have to go find something white to take with me since my mother-in-law likes sweet white wines (I can't let her only drink that bottle of Mogan David she said she wants.) Any suggestions?

Oh yeah, anybody have a suggestion for paring with corned beef? I think she is making that for Thursday night.

Is Guinness Kosher?

Beta testing a new signature.

I am trying a marlborough SB and a portuguese blend, plus my old standby Becketts Flat - an Australian cab/syrah blend. I was shocked by the variety of locales making kosher wine and they're supposed to be very good. will report back!

I think you're right kpak...

Not doing the Kosher thing...

2004 Nobilo Icon SB, 2001 Flora Springs Trilogy (got it for $30).

I can't listen to that much Wagner. I start getting the urge to conquer Poland.

Kosher wine during the ceremonial part of the Seder, then I bring out the real stuff.

Oooops. Corrected in original. It is Seder, just don't spell well or realize when I make a spelling mistake if I don't have spellcheck.

.... Hanna Bismark Cab.

Since it was in my cellar for 2 years, it is semi-kosher.
