Okay, I get to start this month:
Sat - airplane food - we had what they were calling a "Mexican Salad", which was basically a chef's salad w/some cilantro thrown on top.
Sun - Meat Lover's pizza - had about about 2 lbs of meat on it.
Tonight - too tired to eat much. Brie with garlic laden crusty bread and green salad.
Tomorrow - new Vietnamese restaurant in town to try.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is .ps - friends don't let friends eat farmed salmon.

Sounds wonderful.
Did you pair (Spanish) wines with them?

actually no, we have almost no spanish wine. when we go to Jaleo we dabble though,... still at a very early stage in Spanish wine. Jaleo in Crystal City here instituted a "to go" program were you can shop in their cellar a la retail. good excuse to learn more...

yeah... it's large, been there for well over a year i think.... it is right across from Ruth's Chris and the starbucks (one block off of Jeff Davis/route 1 toward the airport) right next to Oyamel, Andres' Mexican tapas place. Julie loves the Aqua Fresca at Oyamel as it reminds her of her time in Guadalajara. they will even make guacamole at your table side...very tasty. we love to go to both on the weekends for lunch when they are virtually empty, you can sit outside or just chill and read a book or the paper and nurse a spanish wine since there is no one there. no rush to free the table. Nights, however, are packed.

There is a McCormick and Schmidts too on that strip now too.

name of cook book? Tapas : A Taste Of Spain In America
