Had this twice in the last two weeks and I'm still getting comments about what a great wine this was during a steakhouse dinner. Fruity but with enough tannin to hold up for a few years, and full-bodied. Tar, licorice, earthy leather and thin (watery) blackberries. Paid $17 here in Denver but have seen it for as little as $13 at wineexchange. A buy either way, and a great weekday wine or when you don't want to blow an expensive bottle on people who just don't appreciate it.
