| Decanted and open 3 hours.
This is a very good shiraz. Huge black forest cake rasberry nose. Sweet, rich creamy palate of vanilla and mocha, with a bit of blackberry bite. Good acidity and balance for a wine of 16%. Reminds me a bit of the 2000 Hazyblur Barossa (high praise, indeed). It will be interesting to see how this ages.
