My neighbor and I went to Wine Library Saturday, and one of the sales people recommended this wine $20. Wine Lib. as they do every year comes up with a top wine list for their holdiay catalog, this year they are doing a top 50 wines you have never heard of. This shiraz is number 3 on their list so though we would try. My neighbor opened this Saturday night an I only got a partial glass after dinner. The color is a dark purple almost black. The nose is a tight but intense berry, pepper, spice vanilla oak. The mouthfeel is smooth still a little tight with nice flavors of plum, berries, spices and some oak with a pretty long lingering finish. I would say this is a shiraz you could age for awhile with improvement and a good bargain now. I would give it 90pts.

As additional information I looked this one up on WS as I hadn't ever heard of this one, it was rated by them in Dec 02 at 89pts with a best after 2003, interestingly the price their was $45.
