| This wine is a blend of 60% Merlot, 32% Shiraz, 4% Cabernet Franc, 2% Tempranillo and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Wine is inky black with a magenta rim. Fairly pronounced aromas of ripe blackberries, mocha and cassis. Medium to full bodied with good balance. Lots of black fruit, molasses, chocolate and a pretty good dose of American oak. This is about as much oak as I can take before being turned off, but this rides the line successfully. Moderate to long finish. jb Rating 89+.
This wine retails for about $23. It really is quite a complex wine that with a little time, could jump to the 90 pt plateau. Hopefully, the oak better integrate with a bit of time. Jazin and Revlis have purchased this wine, so hopefully they might chime in about it.

| So I popped this sucker tonight, planning on half bottle. TOO LATE!
Very dark purple color indeed.
Light nose, but sweet.
Palate is sweet as well with lots of fruit. It's very one dimensional, but makes for a very smooth drink now type of wine. Low tannin, low acidity, alcohol doesn't show much at all... Great daily drinker or for the friends IMO because it's a very good QPR.
Rev rates it: 88
Huh. After reading jb's TN, I'm wondering if I drank the right bottle... Yep.. I did. Maybe it was bottle variation, but not in the bad sense. | | If you drink wine, you get smarter.... | |

| Rev, I wrote this Tn after this bottle had been open for about 6 hours. I brought it home, had some with dinner and then penned the tn later. That might account for the differences.
