Tasted with ttepper at Christie's "The Classic Wines of Penfolds"

Amber edge
Creamy mint nose.
Dark fruit, olive, mushroom palate. Low acidity which makes this extremely smooth yet still balanced. Very dark flavors all around, smooth tannins, very nice with noticeable american oak.
Finish is longer that the '88, '62, '67 wines tasted at this event.
