A nice lighter raspberry colour with some darker tinges. The fruit is typical Aussie style with nice jammy raspberry, cherry and plumnotes particularly evident. As the wine got a little more air (or my nose calibrated- not sure which.) some hints of chocolate and cocoa came through. The palate was quite light but displayed a nice even balance of tannin and acids. Good length but nothing to intense or serious. This wine is certainly an everyday drinker, but displays a good structure for a lighter red wine. Good summer drinker. 85 points.

No and believe me its not. But it is enjoyable.

We recently picked up a bottle of this and had it with a dinner of pasta with a light sauce of eggplant, tomatoes and garlic. Bought for $8.99

Nice food wine. Somewhat less extracted and over the top then I would expect from an Australian in this price range. Medium body, and at this price a solid wine.
