2002 Two Hands “The Bull and the Bear” Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon.

Grapes for this wine come from the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale, South Australia and if my memory serves me correctly was 60% Shiraz, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. A dense full-bodied wine with a deep red to purple color. Aromas of cedar, blackberries, raspberries, spice, and pepper loft off the wine easily in the glass. The palate on the other hand is unyielding, fat in the middle, and chewy with considerable amounts of tannin suggesting 3 or more years of bottle age is necessary. The finish is moderately long and tight, but full of potential. Score 92+ points.

Thanks Bob.

Seek,
I haven't seen this one around here.
Where did you find it, and how much was it?

Thanks.

This bottle was provided by Bob Bressler when we ate dinner last week at Roux.
