I last had this wine last over a year ago and 2 times before that. I think I had been very pleased with it then and gave it a 88-90. This time however was a different story. Strong acidic and bitter flavors abounded with high levels of oak (wood) showing strong on the finish. All sweetness seems to have faded along with what used to be great levels of fruit. 79 points.

Maybe the Welchs Grape Juice Sparky poured over the top before bottling finally disapated.

Cellaring the majority of cheapies is always risky. I never buy them by the case because of their tendency to fall of a cliff once the initial burst of fruit fades. Sorry the wine did not perform for you Seek.

And, I aways wondered how some Wines loose it what it seems like over night.

No great shakes after all this is a $10 wine. This was not a bad bottle just a victim of mass production with early consumption in mind.

Had it. It was ok. sarah's and shiraz are worth it. Cab and merlot not.
