Tasted as part of Aquila dinner/blind tasting on 12/8/02. Wine tasted from Riedel Vinum Bordeaux stems.

Wine was lighter in color than the other wines tasted. Meduim cherry red. Nose of sweet raspberry and pepper. Very nice flavors in the mouth, a combination of spicy and sweet. Cherries and allspice mingling together. Sweet, but somewhat shortish finish with fairly high acidity. jb Rating 89.

i liked this a little better than jb. i thought its complexity made up for its body. i gave it a 90.

This wine was my #3 (out of 6) last night.

Nice extraction, huge amounts of glycerin, with a slightly peppery profile. I really enjoyed the 20+ second finish on this wine.

I was slightly disappointed when this wine was revealed since I was expecting a monster wine from Clarendon.

90 points.
