Tasted at a private tasting with Trevor Jones, hosted by The Butcher Block in Tampa (www.butcherblocktampa.com).
Bright ruby color, perhaps a little lighter than I expect from a Grenache. Overripe black cherries on the nose, with chocolate and hibiscus notes. Creamy black cherries and rose hips across the palate, with the woodiness of the 8% Merlot blended in coming through. A very nice value Grenache at around $14.
