2001 Two Hands Shiraz Ares - Australia, South Australia, Barossa, Barossa Valley (4/15/2007)
WIML92?
Tasted April 15, 2007 at an offline. No formal note. Purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Huge nose and palate of dark chewy fruits, some blueberries (settling down with bottle age), currants and maybe some minerality as well. Medium acidity, medium to firm tannins, definitely full bodied. Seems to be settling in with some bottle age. Drink now with at least a couple of hours in the decanter or hold a few more years. Score is reflective of the wine right now. There might be some room for improvement here with more time in bottle. (92 pts.)
