A favourites of mine.

Colour: Dark red
Nose: ripe plum, cassis and aniseed. Black pepper evolved as I warmed the wine in my hand. Also some complex notes of strawderry (that was a surprise) and good length of aromas in the nose- they just seemed to hang around for ever- this bode well for the palate.
Palate: The tannins initially kicked in and almost kicked the flavours out, then they seemed to majestically turn into a fruit bomb of flavours. The ripe and firm fruits left the mouth almost " dangling" for the next taste. Length and finish were awesome.
Overall: Best "finisher" of the tasting. This wine was so lengthy it scared me. 92 points
