Cape Mentelle is part of the Cloudy Bay/ Veuve group and the quality of the wines are always surprising.

Colour: Pale with light straw notes
Bouquet: Very grassy with hints of melon and peach.
Palate: Powerful acids initially dominate then sweet grassy notes come through.
Overall: Very well made and enjoyable wine, in fact much more my style of sem sav. 89 points.
