Another instore tasting. retails around $8-$12 USD.

This is a dry riesling, and although I know some people feel these to be a waste of time, I find they are a great alternative to NZ sav blanc.

Colour: Pale with some peach hints.
Nose:Clean mineral, pineapple, light kerosene, melon and slight aged cheddar notes.
Palate:Powerful forward acids create a drying effect across the palate. Strong mineral notes are evident on the palate with the acids dominating most of the fruit, which I believe will come out as the wine ages. Length is impressive and vibrant (those acids again) creating a feeling that your mouth is parched. The finish is fast and abrupt.
Overall: An excellent wine for the money. 84 Points. But keep in mind that this wine is almost bone dry and needs a little time. With age the score should creep up to 87 points.
