My contribution (thanks for all the recommendations). Pale yellow in color. Lots of citrus aromas on the nose, specifically lemon. There was also a bit of diesel. Soft in the mouth with just the slightest bit of acidity on the finish. Definitely New World. Slightly bitter on the finish, but that didn’t really detract from the overall impression of the wine.

Very much so. I thought it was a well balanced wine. The comment from most everyone was that they were suprised it was a 2001. Most thought it was slightly older.

I know some people don't like to throw around numbers for ratings. That is fine. It would be helpful to quantify how much you enjoyed the wine in some way. Just whether you recommend it or not. How much it costs would be great to (if you know). Sounds like a winner, jules. Thanks for sharing. jb
