2005 Tait The Ball Buster - Australia, South Australia, Barossa, Barossa Valley (1/4/2007)
WIML89,PURPLE90,WA93,NOWS

Tasted January 4, 2007 at home. Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Authentis Magnum glass. Dark purple to crimson color in the glass, clear hue throughout (as best as you can tell). Nose was tight when first opened revealing some notes of black currants, blackberries, some other dark fruits and maybe a little cocoa as well. Flavors of juicy ripe berries, black cherries, vanilla and plum. Moderate acidity with firm tannins and liver killing alcohol. Drink over the short term. (89 pts.)

Maybe that's why they call it the Ball Buster.

It killed my liver, not my balls.

TMI.
