| The last word in both notes, i.e "monster" and "sweet" makes it sound like you are comparing train smashes. | | Cheers Ric www.torbwine.com | |

He probably was if you tried to pair either of these wines with food.

I will lend you my GPS.
(I am not have a shot at you, so please don't take this the wrong way, just trying to explain the way I saw it. ) Your notes were brief which is fine. The last word in each case is preceded and the followed by a full stop. That makes that last word look like a "summary" of your impressions of the wine. So one is "sweet" and the other a "monster" and in that perspective, from where I sit, neither wine looks particularly attractive, hence the comparison to a train smash/wreck.
Does that explain it? | | Cheers Ric www.torbwine.com

Two nations separated by a common language.
Fanny = Backside VS Unmentionable Trunk = Boot Hood = Bonnet Wreck = Smash Bastard = Not nice VS term of endearment Blue = Colour vs fight (or red headed person) Bugger = Not nice VS completely acceptable, even in Toyota TV advert Boy = Racial slur VS usual term of endearment (as in I like the boy) (At the Oz Logies TV Awards many years ago, the Oz host said to Mohamed Ali, "I like the boy" - you should have seen the look on Ali's face when he heard it. Ali then responded, "What do you say?" .... and then you should have seen the look on the presenters face when he realised the "American interpretation" of his comments. It was a classic!
... and so the list goes on. | | Cheers Ric www.torbwine.com
