1990 Grange, decanted for 6 hours then put back in the bottle for trip to dinner. This wine was one of over 50 wines at a 90’s Shiraz tasting in Orange County. It was the wine of the evening. Rich, ripe and supple with the traditional Grange blackberry, chocolate. This wine was drinking beautifully after being opened 10 hours earlier. This is the best bottle of 1990 Grange I have ever had. The tannins were completely gone since first tasted upon opening the bottle. Beautifully balanced, finesse yet there was power underneath all of that. Drinking great but can go another 10 years. 98 points
