Superb example of Coonawarra shiraz, with a powerful nose of textbook ripe spicy Shiraz fruit, bbq, and a certain very pleasant earthiness (or soil contamination to the great depth of fruit). Nose with hint of violet drops. Juicy acidity. A winner in my book, at a superb price ($18 in Santiago de Compostela). 91+
