| | Purple with a medium nose blueberry, cocoa and blackberry. Full body, medium plus intensity and medium acidity. Nose imitates the palate, thick like a milkshake with the sweetness to match. Another wine that is monolithic and simple with just concentration. Not my cup of tea either. | | | |

| | Decanted for about 2 hours before pouring, I liked this a good deal more than the "Two Left Feet". The wine is an impenetrable dark opaque crimson, and the bright nose displays rich aromas of blueberries, menthol, black plums, and a touch of bacon fat. On the palate this wine possesses a wealth of sweet fruit, but retains just enough acidity to keep things lively and fresh. A very full, broad wine, with ripe rich tannins, there is a little heat here also, but not to the point of distraction, and there is good depth in the concentration of fruit. Finishes pleasingly long. 92+ points, I think this may well benefit from a few years in the cellar. | | | |

| | Puprle, medium plus nose of cassis, blackberry and blue fruits. Medium plus body, medium plus intensity and medium acidity. OVer the top with more blackberry, smoke and oak. Light heat, and aptly named as my palate felt like it had gone a few rounds with a boxer after putting this in my mouth. I like to drink and taste wine, not be assaulted by it. 87pts. | | | |
