2004 McWilliams "Hanwood Estate" Riesling. South Eastern Australia, Australia. 11.5% alcohol. $10.
Pale straw with rather sharp aromas of lemon, slate, and tart peach with a smidge of petrol. There's decent fruit on the palate but way too much acidity quickly squelches it. Reasonable length. Closed with a screwcap. Drink now. 81 points.
