| 2001 Tin Shed Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre- $23 per bottle by the 6 pack $138 This is different to many other blends like this. Most are GSM blends, with the softer and sweeter Grenache dominating, and Mourvedre being a small amount to add some depth and complexity. This wine is majority Mourvedre, so this is a much more serious, meaty intense version. Deep purple black, this wine has an aromatic rich spicy nose dominated by integrated fruit, earthy and meaty plums, mushroom and blackberry. The palate shows the same light touch with oak, and same delicious mouthfeel of the other wines, with great depth of spicy fruit, savoury and with terrific persistence, this is a great food wine, and one that will cellar and soften beautifully over time.
