This was a strange wine, and not at all what I expected unlike any previous shiraz I have had. The wine had a very prominent raisin and almost port quality to it. To me this would indicate very overipe grapes. I also noted some licorice, and pepper. 4 of us were drinking this I didn't care much for it but the other 3 liked it. I couldn't get past the raisins. Any one else try this one? It didn't taste anything like I expected based on salesman and WA rating. I would give it 81pts for me the others seemed to think closer to 87pts.

I had this wine tonight. I am closer to the calcabs score than Parker's score of 91 points. I liked it a bit more than calcabs, but 91 points?!? Man of man...

A descent wine that you can put down with non-winos. That's about it & that's all that it is.

Rating: 84 points, drink now. I am just not sure where Parker got 91 points out of this wine?!?

parker seems to REALLY like the Australian shirazs.
