A lovely nose of rich fruits with nuances of almond, plum and black olive. A full bodied, powerful palate with drying tannins and deep, sweet plum, licorice and blackberry some eucalypt with a little mint on a long lingering finish.
Cheers

I was so excited to see this post. I tasted several of the Glaymond wines on a trip to Australia in August '05 and was very impressed with Damien Tscharke's talent. The '03 "AS IF" Cab and "The Distance" Shiraz were some of the best wines I tasted on my trip. Full bodied, ripe and lush with unbelieveable balance for the intensity of fruit in these wines. Glaymond is definitely a wine label to watch.
