| Oak sandwich, get your (red) hot oak sandwich!! Oak, vanilla, oak, blueberries, oak, hints of raspberry and caramel, oak, did I mention oak? While not truly disgusting, I wouldn't pay more than $20-25 to experience this again. Did I forget to mention oak? The '04 may be marginally better than the '03, which I thought was rather raw and hot, but the '04 isn't as good as the '02, which in turn arguably wasn't as good as the '01. Did I mention oak? | | |

| Medium nose of cassis, black berry, vannilin and oak spice in spades. Medium plus body, full intensity and medium acid with the nose following through on the palate with an extended concentrated finish. If you like ripeness and oak this wine is for you. I'll pass, again. | | | |
