Margaret River - 14.5% alcohol.

Fairly strong nose of very dark fruit with mild cedar.
Taking the first gulp was like getting hit in the face with a 2" thick cut of a super fresh raw steak. Black currant, cassis, licorice, lots of pepper, and sweet cedar that is very structured with hearty tannin and bold acidity. This is still behaving like a very young wine.... I'd say at this rate give it another two years before the next one. It'll be a gamble with the heavy oak treatment, but this might have the stuffing to do it. Decant for one hour.
Rev Rates it: 91 Really enjoyable! :-) Would've been better with a thick flavorful and stinky cheese.
If you drink wine, you get smarter....
