| Thank you for posting the note. I have a 1/2 case of this in cellar and was wondering how it was doing. Any suggestion on decanting time?

| | We first tasted this wine in March of 2003 shortly after is was bottled. We drank it with a rack of lamb in Australia. We had it last night with lamb and really enjoyed it. The three years of bottle age has helped a great deal. We decanted for about an hour. The nose was shy but opened to show some blueberry. The flavors are very intense, and the finish is long. The flavors are dominated by black fruit and a hint of pepper. At $17, it was a good value. I'd like to hang on to the remaining bottles for a few more years but the wine is drinking nicely now so I probably will not wait. | |
