2001 Lengs & Cooter Sémillon Clare Valley (WIML80,NOWA,WS83)

Tasted October 16, 2005 at a retail tasting so brief comments. Opened and served immediate in Riedel restaurant line Syrah glasses. Yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Overpowering nose of petrol with some oily citrus thrown in. Flavors of peach and lemon zest for the most part dominate. Came across as very “flat” on the palate. Drink over the short term if you must. A big pass in my book and not recommended.
