2003 Scarpatoni Chardonnay Unwooded (WIML87,NOWA,NOWS)

Tasted October 16, 2005 at a retail tasting so brief comments. Opened and served immediate in Riedel restaurant line Syrah glasses. Yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of vanilla, pear and yellow apple. Flavors of green apple, lime and pear. Tangy acidity that will hopefully settle down with a little time, otherwise in balance. Drink over the short term. Decent QPR and only recommended on that basis. I’m passing myself.
