| Notes from an Australian Shiraz tasting, held April 8th, 2003
Very similar in many respects to the Turkey flat, at first I would have been hard pressed to identify any differences between the two. However, with time in the glass this wine really started to show it’s stuff, and by the end of the flight was beginning to shine. An animalistic, musty nose showing loads of pepper, wood, and clove. There’s a lot of fruit in here, but this baby needs time, my #2 in the flight at 91+, drink 2005-2012. | | | 2008: the end of an error |
