This wine resembles the other '03 MP offerings but it has slightly more fruit and flesh to cover the alcohol.

Nose of juniper, dark chocolate which carries through on the palate. The finish and imho, the wine is dominated by the heat of the alcohol.

I have been a fan of the Marquis wines in general and the MP wines for their QPR but I find the '03s disappointing.

If the MP wines are (relatively) representative of the '03 Aussies, I will be a very selective buyer of the vintage.
