| | This is a 60/40 blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. I was actually surprised about this, only because I had forgotten it was in my cellar and didn't expect much. Turns out to have a nice dark brick red color, nice fruit forward nose, and fairly big sweet cherry and sweet blackberry on the palate. A little oaky, good body, some complexity to it... thick tannins and good acidity, this could use a couple years maybe. Very nice. Rev Rates It: 89 | | If you drink wine, you get smarter.... | |
