drank this over two nights. as wine opened up, the notes are from the second night. i believe this wine was made before they had a reserve. bought on release. paid $29.

dark inky opaque purple color. huge nose of black currants, menthol and leather. full bodied with chunky extracted black fruit. chocolate and spice on the long finish. not alot of tannins so i would drink this up in the next 2-3 years. on the first night, this wine was a typical aussie fruit bomb. on the second night it showed a bit more elegance. me93
