| | The wine was a medium-dark purple with a beautiful nose of dark cherries, spice, and roses, with a hint of cinnamon. Unfortunately, the nose promised a bit more than the wine delivered. On the palate, the young wine was surprisingly soft and round with good balance. It didn't taste quite like any other varietal I've had. There were flavors of plums and berries, but something seemed to be missing, possibly a little more tannin. Still nice drinking, especialoly from Greece. 85 | | | |
