Another K&L closout, picked this up for $7.99 (marked down from $27.99).

Nose smells old, but not in a particularly good way - musty, earthy, with a bit of fruit. On the palate the wine has good texture, it is soft, fills the mouth broadly, and has fine tannins. Fruit comes out a bit more in the mouth, but there is a slightly bitter edge to the tannins suggesting they weren't quite ripe. Overall this is not a bad wine, it is balanced and obviously well made, but it's certainly not something I'd seek out. 80 points.
