95% Cab Sauvignon, 3% Merlot, 2% Cab Franc. Mr. Gaja said that this was one of the best vintages of Darmagi since 1988. The darkest wine of the night. Great Napa-like cab nose of berries, mint, and cedar. Very intense, and old-world on the palate, with flavors of plum, tobacco, and espresso. Long tannic finish. 93P.
