dark red core, just showing a little age on the rim. The nose was muted, but after much coaxing started to show a little cherry and spice. The palate was seamless, with silky tannins and well integrated oak surronding and rich core of red friuts. medium to full bodied, with a medium long finish. Still in it's primary stages, this can be enjoyed now but should get much better with time. 90 pts
