Dark purple core with cherry rim. Nose of stewed fruit, and cedar. The palate was rich and lush with a fresh fuit core, soft tannins and good acidity, all very well woven together. Finished well with plum and apricot pit core. This wine, only the second vintage from this house, is made by the former wine maker of Quintarelli, and Dal Forno. keep and eye out for these guys! For a straight Valpolicella, this wine showed surprisingly good concentration. 2 to 4 years. 90 pts
