Just polished this off while in san fran on business. Was about $45 in a italian bistro on Powell St. near Union Square. Damned if I can't remember the name of the place.

I didn't really take formal notes on this and can't describe it other than this went really well with two of the three dishes my colleagues and I shared, Penne with red sauce and lamb sausage and Spinach fettucine with smoked chicken and goat cheese.

This is a nice light style of amarone that was singing right out of the bottle. Not a real ager I would think, but a good food wine.

Oh, and I broke one of their riedels. Oops.
